As Wild Health Officer (maternity cover) you will facilitate nature connection and positive actions for nature with underrepresented communities across Gwent. You will enable us to continue our delivery of exemplary, targeted and impactful interventions to communities across Gwent, supporting them to access the outdoors safely and connecting them to nature. You will be supporting improvements to their wellbeing, increasing their motivation to access the outdoors, increasing community connection and supporting nature’s recovery through practical work on the ground.
The role works alongside our existing Senior Wild Health Officer and will join a high performing and passionate Nature Based Solutions Team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and approachable person with a passion for connecting people of all abilities to nature. To be successful in this role, you will enjoy engaging with a diverse range of people and supporting them to improve their mental and physical wellbeing through spending time outdoors. A passion for and a knowledge of nature and the outdoors would be advantageous.
