Here at Gwent Wildlife Trust we have an amazing team of volunteers who support us to meet our vision of ‘people close to nature in a landscape rich in wildlife’. We have over 350 volunteers working across all departments of the organisation and championing wildlife in their local communities. We are so grateful for all that our volunteers do and wouldn’t want to meet our 2030 strategy without them.
Volunteering is a great way to meet like-minded people, connect to nature, improve your wellbeing, gain new skills and may even boost your career prospects.
We have opportunities for you to join our Nature Recovery , River Monitoring, Stand for Nature Wales project, Surveying and Monitoring, Livestock Checkers and Office teams.
If you would like to join one of our volunteer teams, have a look at the various activities you can participate in and complete the webform below. We’d love to hear from you.
