Volunteer with Stand for Nature Wales (SFNW)
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us on the project to engage, inspire and empower young climate change warriors for the future.
If you would like to work alongside young people and the SFNW team, helping find nature-based solutions to climate change, we are looking for someone who would like to volunteer to help run groups and activities with the 9-24 year olds we are working with.
The Project is based in Newport (using Magor Marsh as one site) and the Valleys of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly and Torfaen local authorities.
Volunteering will include daytime events during the school holidays and evening group meetings. You will learn new skills while having fun and finding solutions to climate change issues.
If you are keen, able to enthuse and engage with young people or want to find out more about the role, please complete the webform here.
This volunteer role will require you to be DBS checked and to undertake safeguarding training. You will not be asked to volunteer on your own with young people.
A fuel or travel allowance is available.
